UWO Nursing Program
Nursing students taking the Community and Nursing course at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) gain valuable experience during community placements at London and Middlesex Housing Corporation sites.
Participating students conduct community assessments and provide LMHC tenants with education and programs on nutrition, health, recreation and social services.
The program runs weekly at selected properties during each of three semesters throughout the year. It aim to provide valuable outreach to LMHC tenants, and build a sense of community.
